This is DEI’s state-of-the-art polymer laminated glass cloth that
conveniently shields engine components that are exposed to extremely hot
temperatures. The Reflect-A Gold can handle operating temperatures up
to 850 degrees F, reflecting 80% of all radiant heat.
Applying Reflect-A-Gold is simple, it is a comfortable material that
has a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that makes installation easy
to install or remove. You can wrap fuel lines, wire bundles,
intercoolers, oil pans, or any other engine parts exposed near exhaust
components.
